This is truly a book junkie's paradise. Sri Lanka's largest second-hand bookstore is a treasure trove of "finds" for the collector of old books. First editions are a speciality. The enormous collection covers 2,000 square feet or more of shelf space. Books spill over everywhere. Piles on the floor are of inconceivable variety--anything from the lowbrow to the high-octane. The shop is popular with students who can ill afford the high cost of new textbooks.
